Abstract
A successful technique for simulating the three dimensional nonlinear interface problem is described. Included are discussions of the solution technique, optimization methods used, and a discussion of some preliminary results. Behavior of the three dimensional problem is observed to be quite different from the two dimensional problem which has been investigated recently.
