Self-heterodyning linewidth measurement of an optical frequency comb mode using stimulated Brillouin scattering

Abstract

Linewidth of a single-mode from an Optical Frequency Comb is measured using self-heterodyning without the need for narrower linewidth laser. Initially, the mode is filtered using the stimulated Brillouin scattering before the self-heterodyning is applied.
