An Isogeometric solution to the forward problem in Optical Tomographic reconstruction

Abstract

Optical tomography (OT) is a powerful tool for diagnosis. We applied Isogeometric Analysis (IGA), a novel numerical method, to the forward problem. IGA shows more accurate and efficient results compared to Finite Element Method.
