A Finite Volume Method for Fluorescence Diffuse Optical Tomography: Influence on Forward Model and Reconstruction

Abstract

This paper presents a finite volume method to compute the forward model in fluorescence diffuse optical tomography. The method is compared to the finite element method in regards of both forward model and reconstruction accuracy.
