Abstract
Through a new class hybrid-photonic phononic guided-wave structures we show that artificial Brillouin nonlinearities can be created and manipulated in silicon. Exploiting the nonlocal nature of such hybrid interactions, we demonstrate sophisticated emit-receive functionalities to achieve coherent control of information.
