Practical Tabletop “X-ray Lasers” Implemented Using High Harmonic Generation

Not Accessible

Abstract

By upconverting light from a femtosecond laser into the EUV, “tabletop x-ray laser” light sources are now possible. Their unique coherence characteristics provide fundamentally new capabilities in x-ray science, and benefit from new experimental approaches.
