Abstract

We investigate weak optical turbulence in class-A nonlinear optical systems. By class-A nonlinear optical systems we mean primarily class-A lasers, where polarization and population inversion decay rapidly in comparison to the optical field. This allows to eliminate adiabatically the fast material variables and to obtain the single equation describing the basic spatio-temporal dynamics of the full system: which is the complex Swift-Hohenberg equations (CSHE).
