Abstract

The dynamics is studied at low temperatures of two-dimensional (2D) excitons in GaAs single quantum wells (SQW’s). We show that a purely superradiant slate can be created. We demonstrate that exciton-exciton collisions and exciton hopping reduce the superradiant exciton lifetime.
