Selective light-induced scattering in photorefractive crystals

Abstract

The appearance of rings and arcs of scattered light is a phenomenon often occurring in different holographic media, when two laser beams impinge on the sample. Because of the narrow angular spectrum we call this type of scattering patterns the "selective" scattering.
