Frequency-domain evaluation of light source and sensor interactions in photoelastic fringe patterns

Abstract

The interactions between light sources and sensors alter the spatial frequency content of fringe patterns in photoelasticity studies. This paper presents a computational strategy to evaluate these alterations in the frequency domain.
