Abstract

The well-known phenomenon of self-hydrophobization [1] is associated with the absorption of hydrocarbons from the ambient air by the surface of reactive metal oxides [2]. This work is aimed at determining the spontaneous liquid-repellency depending on the laser-textured pattern on the aluminum surface.
