Abstract
Diamond is host to color centers, an interesting type of quantum system. Examples are the well-studied nitrogen-vacancy center and more recent the group-IV color centers. These systems show promising attributes for quantum communication applications, e.g. long coherence times of individually addressable spins that couple to optical transitions [1].
