Electro-Optic Sampling with Percent-Level Detection Efficiency

Abstract

Employing a high-power, 2-m laser source, we demonstrate detection of octave-spanning mid-infrared waveforms via electro-optic sampling, reaching percent-level detection efficiencies and an intensity dynamic range that surpasses 14 orders of magnitude at 9 m.
