Abstract

Laser-induced stress, strain, and deformation are important phenomena that need to be considered during pulsed laser processing. Knowledge of the thermomechanical effect and thermoelastic wave generation and propagation induced by laser is of great importance for controlling and optimizing laser-material processing.
