Dynamic Stark Effect in Rydberg NO Induced by Intense Laser Pulses

Abstract

The dynamic Stark effect in Rydberg nitric oxide induced by ultrafast laser pulses is quantitatively measured at different laser intensities: non-negligible Stark shifts are reported and assessed in relation to the electron ponderomotive energy.
