Compression of chirped biphotons by Fresnel- inspired binary phase shaping

Abstract

We theoretically show that chirped biphotons can be compressed to Fourier-transform limited by shaping its spectrum using Fresnel-inspired binary phase shaping. This provides a way for the generation of single-cycle biphotons.
