Optical Power Amplification via TE Resonant Optical Tunneling in Asymmetric, Metal-Dielectric, Single Barrier Potential System

Abstract

We show that, when properly configured, it is possible to have field and power amplification via unbound-state-enabled TE resonant optical tunneling through a two-dimensional, asymmetric, single-barrier potential system with metal.
