Abstract

We report a novel intracavity trace gas sensor by merging photoacoustic spectroscopy and an erbium doped fiber-ring laser to achieve a noise-equivalent absorption coefficient of 3.25×10−7 cm−1·Hz−1/2 for acetylene detection.
