Linearly Polarized Thulium Doped All-fiber Laser

Abstract

We report an all-fiber, linearly polarized Thulium doped fiber laser operating at 1950 nm. In the experiment, as high as 14.2 Watts power is generated from the laser with slope efficiency of 48.4%.
