Power Scaling of Linearly-polarized Thulium-doped All-fiber Picosecond MOPA

Abstract

We demonstrated a linearly-polarized thulium-doped all-fiber picosecond MOPA with average power of 203 W at central wavelength of 1985 nm. The pulse duration and polarization extinction ratio (PER) were 15 ps and >15 dB respectively.
