Abstract

This paper presents a polarization maintaining modified hexagonal photonic crystal Tiber (M-IIPCT) with nearly zero ultra-flattened dispersion of 0 ± 0.35 ps/ (nm-km) in the wavelength range between 1.397 µm and 1.675 µm, possessing extremely low confinement losses and birefringence of about 7.5 × 10−4 at λ=1.5 5 µm.
