Femtosecond Cr4+:YAG laser with a 2.4-GHz repetition rate

Abstract

A femtosecond Cr4+:YAG laser consisting of a three-mirror cavity was miniaturized to produce a pulse train of about 2.4 GHz. Moreover, a two-mirror cavity with a potentially higher repetition rate was newly developed.
