Optimization of ultrashort pulse squeezing in nonlinear fibers by an initial pulse shaping

Abstract

We numerically studied the dependence of the initial pulse shape on the spectral filtering photon-number squeezing of ultrashort optical pulses in nonlinear optical fibers. An adaptive system for the optimization of intrapulse quantum structures is also proposed.
