Nonsequential double ionization of D2 molecules with intense 20 fs pulses

Abstract

In the Coulomb explosion experiments of D2 molecules with intense 20 fs pulses, D+ ions with high kinetic energy of ~10 eV were observed. Experimental results show that they were produced by the nonsequential double ionization.
