Continuous-wave polycrystalline Cr2+:ZnSe laser pumped by a 1.85 µm InGaAsP/InP laser diode

Abstract

We report the polycrystalline Cr2+:ZnSe laser, pumped by the 1.85 µm InGaAsP/InP laser diode and Er-fiber laser. The output power is 42 and 520 mW at a slope efficiency of 23 and 53 %, respectively.
