Time domain CARS spectroscopy: study of vibrational relaxation of molecules

Abstract

An important application of GARS spectroscopy includes the study of molecular energy distribution over internal degrees of freedom and the kinetics of relaxation processes. The results of an investigation of vibrational relaxation processes in N2, SF6, and SiF4 excited molecules are presented.
