Abstract

A complete characterization of an actively/passively mode-locked Nd:YAG laser operated at 10pps is given. An optimization of the output stability down to ±1% for the pulse-train and ±3% for a single method were a stabilization of the pulse-train down to ±5% for Nd:Glass lasers. A lpps actively/passively mode-locked Nd:YAG laser is also described in the literature3, but no characteristics of the laser are given.
