Actively Q-switched Tm:YLF laser based on a trapezoid electrooptical KLTN deflector

Abstract

An actively Q-switched Tm:YLF laser is presented. The Q-switched modulation achieved with a novel quadratic electrooptical KLTN deflector, utilizes the induced electric field gradient along the vertical axis caused by the deflector trapezoid shape.
