Femtosecond Fiber Laser at 635 nm

Abstract

We present an ultrafast fiber laser operating a t 635 nm. It emits 168 fs pulses at a repetition rate of 137 MHz. Mode-locking is based on nonlinear polarization evolution in a single-mode praseodymium-doped fluoride fiber.
