Intra-Cavity Spin-Orbit Angular Momentum Conversion with a Sagnac Interferometer Laser

Abstract

We propose and experimentally demonstrate a new method for laser intra-cavity spin-orbit conversion with a q-plate. The Nd:YVO4 laser yielded a high quality LG01 output. We observed a self-adapting resonator that minimized high-order radial modes.
