Designed conversion of spin and orbital angular momentum

Abstract

A novel metasurface providing arbitrarily designed spin-orbit interactions of light has been proposed. Our theoretical and experimental demonstrations show the great potential of the phenomenon for various applications including optical communications and quantum optical process.
