Experimental Demonstration of VM Designation in Hybrid Cloud-Fog Computing with Software-Defined Optical Networking

Abstract

A location-aware virtual machine (VM) designation scheme is first proposed in hybrid cloud-fog computing using hierarchical control architecture of software-defined optical networks, in which virtual machines are designated for different requests with different latency requirements.
