Experimental Demonstration of Latency-aware Software Defined Networking for OpenFlow-based Optical Interconnect in Intra-Datacenter Networks

Abstract

We propose a novel latency-aware software defined networking (LaSDN) architecture for OpenFlow-based optical interconnect in intra-datacenter networks based on latency-aware service strategy. The overall feasibility and efficiency are experimentally verified on our testbed.
