Abstract

The effects of pulse shape and pulse width on chip-asynchronous coherent time-spreading OCDMA system are evaluated by the aperiodic cross-correlation function of up-sampled sequence. For 127 length Gold sequence, normalized throughtput of OCDMA is derived. It can be shown that the shorter optical pulse will obtain larger normalized throughtput.
