Pseudo-Noise Code Interferometry for Multibeam Lidar

Abstract

We present traveling-wave pseudo-noise coded interferometry to generate hundreds of uniquely intensity-modulated beams for multibeam lidar. Lidar backscatter is summed on a single detector and separated into individual beam range profiles with a single correlation.
