In [1], the corresponding author should be replaced by Wanhua Zheng. The sentence “Over 10,000 h lifetime can be reached” in the abstract should be deleted. The sentence “High temperature accelerating tests show that over 10,000 h lifetime can be reached” in line 2, column 1, page 844 should be corrected as “High temperature accelerating tests are being carried out, and accurate lifetime will be reported in other work.”
An explanation about the lifetime-data correction is the following. The lifetime data of the laser presented in Ref. [1] is questionable because the tested method does not conform to the strictly professional method using in the laser industry. Normally, the laser should be put into a high-temperature environment, and about 3 times threshold current needs to be injected. However, we interpreted the temperature of the quantum well as a “high temperature environment,” which was inappropriate. So 10,000 h lifetime-data is not rigorous. The professional lifetime test is being carried out, and several months are needed to complete the test.
