Abstract
A mathematical model has been created that makes it possible in flight trainers
to form an image that is equivalent to a visible image of the space outside the cabin,
observed through the windows of the pilots' cabin. A mechanism is considered for forming
a visible image of the objects of object space, observed by a man through an optical
system. A mathematical model of the mutual noncollinear mapping of object space and
visible-image space is described. A calculation is made of the geometry of the visible
image of space outside the cabin, observed from the pilots' cabin of a wide-fuselage
transport plane with conical windows.
