Abstract

A noncontact rapid microvibration measurement method is proposed based on multichannel projector-camera system and phase shift profilometry. The multichannel characteristics of color image can be used to calculate vibration information dynamically by collecting only one piece of image. The waveform within a frequency range from 0.1 to 2 Hz is measured accurately by means of this vibration measurement technology, and minimum vibration amplitude is about 163 um. The system can be achieved by a standard low cost commercial charge coupled device camera with 30 frames/s.
