Briquette Mold and Briquette Holder for Spectrochemical Analysis

Abstract

The briquette mold herein described is of a simplified and inexpensive design to be used with an ordinary hydraulic press. It consists of the following parts, as shown in Figure 1: two steel blocks approximately 2" × 4" × 4" positioned by a pair of pins and held together by 2 heavy bolts; a punch; a split sleeve; ana d die.
