Abstract
The low-temperature cell described here is designed for laser Raman instruments (such as the Spex Ramalog) with 90° viewing and the beam entering the sample chamber from the bottom. It yields Raman spectra under conditions which are analogous to those of the popular Wagner–Hornig low temperature infrared cell. Thus, full advantage may be taken of the complementary nature of Raman and infrared spectra.
