Abstract

The determination of fluoride by emission band spectra has been utilized by workers in such diversified fields as geochemistry, ceramics, water analysis, atomic energy, and others. Although the materials and procedures vary, the methods are generally based on recording and measuring either the CaF or SrF band emission from an electric arc.
