The figures show the effects of instantaneous corrections for laser sheet extinction and attenuation in densely seeded particle flows. Parts (a) through (e) are the instantaneous images of particles, showing corrections due to profile, divergence, and laser sheet extinction, resulting in a corrected instantaneous image. For further details, see the paper by Kalt and Nathan, pp. 7227-7236.
