Abstract

The possibility of automatic contour generation and orthophoto synthesis from vertical stereopaired distributions placed in a coherent twin enlarging projection system is discussed. Square-law interference recording in the overlapping image plane region of the projected stereopair is the basis upon which conditions for realization are developed. Each projector has one lens performing a central projection while a second affords phase control for isolating the desired information term.
