Measuring the Near-Ground Turbulence Gradient by Differential Angle-of-Arrival Analysis of LED Array Images

Abstract

The vertical gradient of the refractive index structure parameter is measured by analyzing differential angle of arrival differences for rows of light emitting diodes. Height dependence close to z-2/3 is found with some diurnal variation.
