Quantum Optimal Control for Ultrafast X-ray Spectroscopy of Conical Intersections

Abstract

Dynamical coherent signatures of conical intersections are intrinsically weak, rendering their direct detection highly complicated. We present potent quantum optimal control strategies to selectively amplify and isolate them, enabling novel spectroscopic measurement regimes.
