Coherent Effects in Carotenoids

Abstract

Long-lived vibrational coherences in carotenoids are enhanced when the carotenoid is within the LH2 light-harvesting complex. Electronic coherence of the bright transition is also made observable in LH2, revealing new details of excited state evolution.
