Abstract

We report here the first measurements of k-space carrier scattering times in GaAs as a function of the density of carriers. Studies were performed by measuring the dynamics of anisotropic momentum distribution of carriers created by linearly polarized 9 femtosecond infrared pulses [1] centered at 820 nm.
