Abstract

A simple and versatile frequency-domain description of the dynamics of the multimode laser incorporating intra-cavity nonlinear elements for both mode-locking and frequency conversion has been developed. Results of the numerical modeling show that incorporation of nonlinear frequency-conversion element can drastically affect the dynamics of mode-locking.
