All-digital Compensation of Doppler Shift in LEO-LEO Optical Inter-satellite Links

Abstract

We evaluate the all-digital Doppler shift compensation in LEO-LEO coherent optical inter-satellite links. Doppler shift figures are assessed by the simulation of commercial orbits. The results indicate a two-stage compensation method as a viable solution.
