Realizing optical logic with a smart pixel spatial light modulator

Abstract

Amethod of realizing optical logic has been realized experimentally with the design and construction of a ferroelectric liquid crystal spatial light modulator. The different logic functions realized, OR, AND, NOR, NAND and XOR will be discussed.
